2/8/19 "It's kind of like the Wild West."

Here I am with another post for all to see that want to.

Production issues :(

Another blog post here. After a pretty hectic week i have another post for you. I made an attempt to make a screen for the yellow camo shirt, but the screen came out shitty, so i’ll have to tweak it to see what will work. among production issues, the office remodeling was completed.

-Paint It Green!- (the office, that is .)

and the wife came through and pick out a pretty cool green for the office, (I’m beginning to think the color lime green is the mascot color, if that’s a thing?). The project took a whole 8 hours to get finished! With a new desk and a few arrangements it came out nice. The acoustics are also very nice and there is enough room for the conveyor dryer and to do yoga.

-A 6’3” dude doing yoga!?-

In addition to the Peloton they offer yoga classes which i figured can’t hurt. I have been really enjoying the core flow classes. I feel that this is a nice addition to my training and gives me a great stretch as well as strengthening, i’m fond of the Boat and Bow positions, what are your favorites? Yoga definitely has the same affect as running has for me it helps clear the mind, and since i have been taking some time off from running yoga has been a great substitute right now. I am also learning that i am actually quite flexible! If you have time i strongly suggest you give YOURSELF sometime and try it. Because i am constantly thinking of ways to better this little venture of mine i can use a break!

What I am Training:

Days off: Peloton High Intensity Interval Training 30 min ride on days off + yoga 20 minutes core flow session

Work Days: 10 Min Hill climbs (Peloton) every morning before work.

What I am reading

Crushing It! by Gary Vaynerchuk https://amzn.to/2UPa53E

This book i have been reading the last few weeks because i am not one to sit and read a book non stop, unless it’s something else or i have time. This book has been very helpful when it comes to thinking of my business as a whole and is inspirational. In the book he goes through many small business, one in particular caught my interest and they were a startup where all they had was one t-shirt and a iron-on graphic with there logo on it. They used the same shirt on different people and took pictures which created a following and became successful. The company is known as FOOLIES Limited https://teespring.com/stores/foolies-limited-clothing ).

One thing that i thought about is that there is no right or wrong way to do a business which is what excites me about doing all this. I feel that this doesn’t apply to everything in life where certain thing are cut and dry. It’s all kind of like the “Wild West”, which is awesome.

What excites you and do you do enough of it?

Once again, thank you for all of your support!

Mike
