Ketchel’s Tooth

If you frequent the Jim Thorpe area you have already come to find out that the trail for Glen Onoko is now closed due to unfortunate events. However there is another way to see the falls which is off the trail leading to a bigger view, Ketchel’s Tooth.

Ketchel’s tooth can be hike two in two was from the Lehigh Gorge parking lot of atop the Broad Mountain. If you start at the Lehigh Gorge it’s a estimated 1046 elevation gain and a 3.2 mile hike. The area is marked with red blazes and is decently maintained. There are rock steps on the way to the top. Once you make it to the top the view is awesome! On your way down you can take a detour once you get to the junction to the right and see the falls And follow it down to the parking area. Probably one of my favorite local trails for a vista!
