A little off the beaten path by Penns Peak in Pennsylvania is a trail called Tank Hollow. This trail is considerably easy to hike as long as you follow the blazes. The trail is off PA 903 on a road called Behrens road, you follow this road until you get to the game lands parking lot, ( be sure to wear orange if you go during hunting season). After parking proceed towards the front gate, sometimes the gate is open allowing you to park right by the trail head, however if not, it’s a little under a two mile hike to it. So keep an eye out for a white arrow spray painted on a tree that’s the trail start
the trail is relatively easy and short but leads to a really cool view of the Lehigh River. You also have the opportunity to see hawks and other birds flying about. If you are up in the Jim Thorpe area this is a great short hike to add. mike
