Cathedral Rock

It’s great to be back in Flagstaff, Arizona. We decided to be touristy today and check out Cathedral Rock. The hike wasn’t bad at all and is probably a 15 minute hike to the top however upon see a person hike up with a flip flop and a medical boot and attempt to hike up to the lookout area (there’s also a vortex there), which is about a foot wide trail with tons of rocks. Also people were trying to come down and go up st the same time we figured we would go back down and go on the Templeton trail which was a 7mi loop. All we saw was mountain bikers and it made us envious to mountain bike! The trails were so full of packed dirt, rolling hills, and rock gardens. After that hike we headed over to Fort Tuthill park where we did the soldiers trail and it had a warning that there may still be bombs in the area! We saw a bunch of animal tracks, coyotes, etc. They also had an awesome bike park with jumps and bridges very cool stuff!
