As the weather get nicer it getting closer and closer to riding season and i am 100% pumped about getting back out and hitting the trails! hopefully get videos out for you guys to view. Soon it will be time to get the bikes in the shop for a tune up! In addition to the bikes and riding i wanted to get my equipment ready, meaning my Gopros; i had to up date the Gopro hero 3 due to being an older model and not remembering the WiFi password! Luckily it was correct with an update and help from their website. The Gopros in my experience work well for recording, I also use them for my vlogs and reviews on YouTube!
The Youtube channel is features many mountain bike videos, which are primarily POV (point of View) from behind the handlebars and a few from other angles. They mainly feature famous trails around my area and New Jersey. In addition to those there are videos about reviews on the products i am using such in regards to tech, i’m no expert, but i do see myself from time to time looking up what other people think about products and want to help share my view and knowledge with products with others. I have also started doing play throughs on board games or party games which are good to play on a camping trip or a rainy day at home! I feel that you can see more of our other interests during these videos and it is another way you guys to interact with others in the pedals to shins community!
What do you guys think about the content of the YouTube channel and what do you guys want me to cover or do?
Since we will be heading back out to Arizona i will not be releasing anything the next few weeks. You can plan on seeing plenty of pictures in the Facebook and Instagram page. I always seem to find more inspiration when we go out in the desert. Another thought of mine when in a vast area like the Painted Desert or the Grand Canyon or even the petrified forest is that you are really just a very small person in the universe bigger than yourself and many small problems seem to disappear, it could be also that we are on vacation ,but i feel it still and it puts everything in perspective.
Where were you the last time something made all of your problems disappear or feel really small?
What I just finished reading:
Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod: The Six habits that will transform your life before 8AM.
I started to read this book after my wife had finished it and mentioned that i do some of the things mentioned in the book, i decided to pick it up and give it a read since i had just finished crushing it by gary V. The book mainly focuses on time management in the morning. He focuses on making a vision board to focus on the things you want to achieve in life. He also mentions making some affirmations that you should repeat to yourself every morning, which could be, “I am going to get that job.” etc. he also focuses on exercise and how it is important to get the blood flowing in the morning to get ready for the day. He goes on to say that many people have improved their lives due to his book. The book overall is a very inspirational book and offers a lot of insight for those that feel like they do not have time for themselves in the book Hal offers his solutions to this very issue, I for one definitely gained some knowledge from this book and i feel you would to i recommend the book it is a short read but pleasurable to read. Check it out here .
After all of that i wish you all a great weekend and be safe!
