Pedals To Shins

Productive week and glad to be able to end it with a blog post for my readers! While having a day off during the week and having a blank screen i wanted to redesign an old design; the Cough it up shirt. When first starting out with no knowledge of screen printing prior i was using wooden screens from Michael’s which only cover so much area. The back as you can see had the skull on the back and the shirt was red. The front had “Pedals To Shins.” across the chest. The newer shirt is now grey and features red graphics.

What do you guys think of the new shirt?

Training has been the same with the Peloton and i have been doing some HRZ Training which is short for Heart Rate Zone. These live classes involve keeping your heart rate up at a certain Bpm, I definitely felt maxed out after the workout and was glad i completed the training. the training featured hill climbs and sprints was definitely a good workout and i even felt it in the abs! With the shitty weather in Pennsylvania the Peloton and yoga are my main ways of training at this time. What are your Thoughts on Peloton does it seems like something you would like to have and use? I have been stacking my classes in between my work hours so I get up early around five to get ready for my 12 hour shift at work and get on the bike for 10-15 minutes daily to sharpen my mind then if time allows I turn on a Yoga class to stretch out. A reaffirmation for me to want to get up earlier in the morning rather than laying in bed; was a book i decided to read after my wife had finished it called

The Miracle Morning: The six habits that will transform your life before 8a.m. by the author Hal Elrod .

The book describes how his life had taken a turn for the worst after getting in a car accident which resulted in him battling depression, but is able to find a way out through using time in the morning to developing 6 habits such as daily affirmations, exercise, meditation, reading, scribing, visualizing .

The book puts a lot of things in perspective for me and i haven’t finished the entire book yet! It has put new ideas in my head and helps me move with even more purpose.

What are daily routines you doing in the morning to get ready for the day?
